We are looking for a new Paint Supervisor for a 6 month term. If the successful candidate proves to meet expectations, the candidate will become full time permanent.
The Paint Supervisor will provide daily supervision of Paint and Blast operators to fulfill the production requirements of both our internal and external customers in a safe and on time manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Paint Shop Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to the following,
A210ssignment of workload for blast and paint booth,
Plan workday and work week with direct supervisor to meet customer delivery date,
Planning and staging product through the paint shop based on production schedule,
Maintain operator hours and attendance of paint shop personnel,
Maintain the paint shop equipment,
Order paint, primer and required shop materials through purchasing department,
Maintain paint records of usage,
Perform wet and dry film thickness checks on product to ensure minimum paint thickness,
Coordinate with Welding and Completion Cell to achieve a consistent workflow of product,
Keeping work area clean and safe.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have five (5) plus years' experience in a large equipment manufacturing,
Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Applications,
Must have working knowledge of Graco using ProMix 2KE and 2KS Proportioner,
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills,
Intermediate skills and experience with Continuous Improvement principles,
Experience in the heavy trailer industry or similar.
Experience with Electrostatic and Conventional Spraying.
Experience with application of CARC coatings optional.
Application of Epoxy and Polyurethane coatings
HOURS:
Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
