Job Description

The Western Paint and Wallcovering Company is seeking a prepper/helper in our Spraybooth. Position is for full time days, monday to friday with occasional overtime. Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. Good eyesight and a fine attention to detail is important.

Duties include:
Clean machines, booth and workshop; transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout shop manually; masking, taping, sanding, and cleaning surfaces. prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings; stripping old coatings using chemical strippers; assisting finisher to load and unload paint booth; meeting quality standards on a consistent basis, wrapping of painted products for shipping, delivery and/or pick-up; use of drills and air tools such as orbital sanders, airguns and nailguns.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
Be able to bend, lift over 75 lbs, and have good working use of all limbs; fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Manual dexterity; Hand-eye co-ordination; Standing for extended periods, be able to wear a personal respirator and other personal protective equipment
