At DRX, we specialize in high-end automotive customization, offering premium services such as paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coatings, performance upgrades, and detailed aesthetic enhancements. We work on a wide range of vehicles -- from Teslas to exotics -- and take pride in the precision, cleanliness, and quality of every job.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PPF Installer to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience installing paint protection film in a professional shop setting.

What You'll Do

Install paint protection film (clear and stealth finishes) on a variety of vehicles, including full body, front-end, and custom coverage packages Ensure precise alignment, clean edges, and bubble-free finishes using professional tools and techniques Perform thorough prep work including surface cleaning, decontamination, and panel checks Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper tool storage and film handling Work efficiently while maintaining extremely high quality standards -- especially for exotic or high-value vehicles Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless handoffs, scheduling, and workflow Conduct quality control checks on your work before customer delivery Communicate any issues or rework needs proactively to the shop manager or team lead

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of full-time experience installing PPF at a professional shop Strong understanding of PPF installation techniques (bulk install and pre-cut preferred) Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering clean, invisible installs Ability to work on high-end vehicles with professionalism and care Comfortable working in a fast-paced but organized environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with window tinting, vinyl wrap, or ceramic coatings Familiarity with brands like XPEL, 3M, STEK, or SunTek Experience wrapping full exotics or high-end vehicles Knowledge of PPF plotters or software (e.g. Core, FilmCut, etc.)
