Job Description

We're looking for Acrylic Paint Event instructors to instruct our Group Paint Parties and Paint Night events in the Edmonton and surrounding area.

This position is for artists or people with acrylic painting experience looking to work as a subcontracted paint instructor.

Our clients range from the public, to schools, local businesses and organizations. Our events range from private functions (birthday parties, team building, ceremonies, etc.) to schools, fundraisers, and paint nights at local venues.

Responsibilities:

- Group instruction on acrylic painting techniques, and step-by-step methods to complete painting

- Ability to work and communicate with all ages

- Event prep (setup/clean up), and cleaning/caring for supplies and equipment

- Interact and assist clients during event

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of acrylic painting techniques and ability to re-create our paintings for instruction

- Group speaking and ability to effectively communicate with clients

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities

Mandatory Requirements:

- Must be 18 years or older

- Have a valid driver's licence and vehicle

- Live in Edmonton or close surrounding area

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
