Key Responsibilities

• Back Up / Assist Loader Unloaders when required
• Back Up / Assist in the Paint Kitchen when required
• Back Up / Assist in Clean Room at paint booths when required
• Back Up / Assist in Metal and Plastic washer operation and cleaning when required
• Back Up / Assist at End of Line Inspection when required
• Review daily yields and identify programs requiring improvement
• Fill out daily check sheets and report non-conformances
• Monitor sludge pit and assist in operation
• Analyze defects on parts before and after painting
• Assist in monitoring and adjusting air balance issues

• Assist in other areas of the department when needed
• Flexibility to change shift times to accommodate production requirements
• Liaison with the Quality department to help ensure part quality
• Maintain working areas in a clean and safe manner, complying with all Housekeeping Policies
• Wear all protective equipment as required by plant regulations
• Active participation in all departmental Safety, Quality, Production. Cost, Moral, and Environmental CP initiatives
• Must adhere to Rollstamp safety policies and procedures
• Responsible for encouraging teams to develop new ways to improve quality and productivity

• Use of training to provide positive feedback
• Follow and support Rollstamp\'s Mission statement and values
• Support and adhere to Rollstamp\'s policies
• Communicate with all departments/management as required
• Perform regular workplace inspections
• Be involved with accident/incident investigation program
• Correct unsafe acts or conditions
• Commend or correct health and safety performance
• To support and follow Company policies and business objectives in the daily development of team members
• Maintain work performance within the guidelines of IATF & ISO
• Participate as a cross-functional team member on focused continuous improvement teams as required
• Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA
• Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures
• Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook
• Any other reasonable request made by Management

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum high school graduate (Grade 12)
• Good knowledge of English, verbal and written
• Very organized
• Understanding of the painting process
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Experience using a microscope for defect analysis
• Good computer operating skills - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
