Overview

We are seeking an outgoing, charismatic, and reliable person to host Paint Nite events at various bars, restaurants, hotels, wineries, and other fancy places in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

You must be able to clearly and concisely articulate instructions to a crowd of about 20-30 adults so they can leave with a finished painting in 2 hours.

This is a part time position with lots of flexibility. Ideally you would be working 1 -3 events per week. The ideal candidate is a reliable and responsive communicator who is easy going and good at painting.

Job Type: Part-time Salary: From $120.00 per event + tips works out to be $20 - $30 /h Seeking someone for Wednesdays and Thursday nights Hours either 4-9pm or 5-10 pm on evenings or 11am - 4pm on weekends during the day

Duties

Host both public and private Paint Nite events Clearly and concisely articulate instructions to a crowd of about 20-30 adults so they can leave with a finished painting in 2 hours. Manage the flow of the experience while providing individual support to guests as needed Be responsible for maintaining a kit of supplies Setup, run, and clean 1 - 2 events per week

Experience

Experience painting with acrylic (formal education in Fine Arts is not required) Be good at painting Own a car and a valid driver's license Must be willing to commute up to 1 hour for events if needed. Comfortable on stage and have stage presence (in front of a crowd of 20-30 people) Own a smartphone Independent and 100% reliable Responsive communicator - you respond to emails and text messages within at least 24 hours Not afraid of heavy lifting ! you will be required to move tables, chairs, and lift supplies Have a fun, confident personality!
