Reporting to the Senior Manager, Affiliate & Paid Social, the Paid Social Manager will lead building upon the strategic direction of our paid social channels. They will manage the daily operations in order to meet customer acquisition, revenue, and return on ad spend objectives. They will be responsible for crafting and spearheading the roadmap to significantly improve and optimize our paid social traffic, which represents a strategic and high growth channel for SSENSE, and for contributing innovative ideas to grow and expand the channel. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, impact driven, comfortable with data analysis and creative problem solving and able to drive innovation through strong networking skills and ad tech expertise.

Responsibilities

Channel Strategy & Performance - 80%

  • Optimize channel performance to meet weekly targets by collaborating with the channel specialist
  • Analyze performance of Paid Social activities, creating and presenting audits and program reviews resulting in optimal performance and stakeholder buy-in
  • Oversee the implementation of Paid Social campaign strategies to ensure the utmost quality with accurately forecasted results (ROI, customer acquisition, advertising spent, \xe2\x80\xa6)
  • Perform weekly operations such as dashboard updates, budget steering, and campaigns set up
  • Work closely with other paid channels to steer spend across platforms and countries to meet predefined objectives
  • Partner with Meta, Google and additional key external vendors to deliver high impact initiatives and identify opportunities that result in achieving predefined metrics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to jointly deliver projects successfully while creating best in the industry processes
  • Build the annual and quarterly roadmap for Paid Social and Display identifying strategic opportunities for growth in collaboration with the Senior Affiliate Manager
Projects & Development - 20%
  • Conduct performance reviews with moderate to low level of guidance, depending of the complexity of the situation
  • Identify areas of opportunity and build analyses and recommendations to action and test
  • Work closely with Growth Data Principal to propose and conduct testing such as Geo Lift and Conversion Lift Studies
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to establish the short term objectives to scale the Channel
  • Lead the creation and development of training documentation for the team
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and assist the Senior Manager in new company-wide related initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
  • Master\'s degree, a strong asset
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Paid Social channels such as Facebook, TikTok, Display, YouTube
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing and multi-channel strategies
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies
  • Understanding of different attribution models (1st click, last check, multi-touch,\xe2\x80\xa6etc)
  • Advanced knowledge of Google AdWords and Google Analytics, an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Interest in fashion, an asset
