Job Summary

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for overseeing production, leading a team, and maintaining facility operations within the unit.

As a Production Supervisor, you will:

Supervise all H&S Meetings and co-ordinate Risk Assessment completion Motivate and develop the Team Leaders by setting individual and departmental objectives to encourage the achievement of goals Identify skills gaps and initiate recruitment and training as appropriate Decide the daily departmental production plan with the Team Leaders & Planning department to achieve agreed service levels and outbound vehicle times Communicate, cross functionally, to resolve operating problems and drive continuous process improvement across the department Manage materials usage Monitor and manage as appropriate, compliance with Compass policies, procedures, and specifications (including Technical, HR and Health & Safety policies) to achieve food safety standards, controlled and well-managed department Plan all departmental labor usage to manage costs to agreed targets Prepare and organize the departments for internal and external visitors, effectively promoting the site Communicate any Engineering issues to ensure a timely resolution, enabling agreed maintenance and prevention & OEE targets. Monitor and sustain site security and confidentiality at all times

About you:

Proven successful leadership of a production line or team Knowledge and experience of Good Manufacturing Practice Knowledge and experience of Best Management practice Ability to obtain product knowledge Effective written and verbal communication, as well as strong understanding of numbers and data
