Things you will do...
You will be performing production changeovers for products while controlling the computer panels with packaging indicators
You will be responsible for tracking packaging materials for usage/loss rates, maintain packaging machine logs and will be required to participate in process improvement initiatives
As with all team members you will play a critical role in quality control carrying out quality control checks during machine operation, ensuing that product passes the specified quality specifications
Collaborate with team members and work with Supervisors, Management and the Maintenance Team to report and resolve production issues
Ensure all legislated and company issued Policies & Procedures are followed. Where governing bodies include and are not limited to WorkSafe BC, CFIA, COR, Non-GMO, WHMIS, etc.
Actively take part in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs / initiatives
Acts in a manner consistent with health and safety policy, which includes wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while in production facility and reporting all First Aids, Hazard Observations or Near Misses immediately
Trained on multiple pieces of equipment as required by the business
Familiar with HACCP principles, pre-requisite programs, and adhering to plant-specific GMP and GWP rules.
SCHEDULE:
be available for all shifts day or night for shifts of 12 hours up to 3x per week 7 days per week (Plant closes 6am-6pm Sundays for maintenance but operates all other days/hours of the week)
Willingness to work overtime & weekends 7 days per week with schedule potentially changing from week to week (always given one week in advance)

Pay: $24.91-$36.78 per hour
