Job purpose

Responsible for stacking and piling crackers into their correct containers and preparing them for palletization using various equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

The associate's primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
Maintain a high level of cleanliness in work area. Packaging of quality baked products into a variety of packaging formats. Require to visually inspect the flow of product through various stages of the packaging process. Alternate duties such as sweeping, light equipment cleaning will be assigned as required. Require rotating through the various packaging workstations on the packaging line. Require having good hand - eye coordination. Able to lift 5-10 lb. boxes and stacking them on a pallet. Responsible for ensuring that the work they perform meets the Company's finished product "Quality" expectations. Complete changeovers including in depth equipment cleans. Require working "Independently" as well as in a "Team" environment. Perform other assigned duties. Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations. Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines. Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Must be able to follow written and verbal communication. Great attention to detail with accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working conditions

Work indoors. May be exposed to hot temperatures from ovens. May work close to others, usually within a few feet. Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.

Physical requirements

Standing involved. May repeat the same movement. Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets. Ability to bend or twist their body. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
