Position Title: Packaging TrainerPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time xe2x80x8bPosition Location: Florenceville PotatoRequisition ID: 34916We are currently seeking a professional and energetic trainer for our Florenceville, NB Potato Processing Plant.This role will maintain the packaging department training program to safely develop operator capability and efficiency.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Train packaging, tote room, carton shed and palletizing operators on fundamental operation of equipment and safety standards.
• Scheduling of employee training sessions
• Be a subject matter expert on all packaging equipment/processes
• Update programming and recipes in equipment
• Audit of recipes and centerlines of all equipment
• Support the development of training programs / Prepare learning materials
• Mentor employees be the example
• Administer certification testing / Skill assessments
• Maintain an accurate record of training records for all employees
• Support Operator Asset Care activities
• Support 5S and MDI processes in the packaging area
• Support center-lining activities to optimize change-over activities
• Support the QN process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Packaging Operator Level II Certificate considered an asset
• Thorough understanding of the packaging process
• Ability and experience working with High Performance Teams is considered an asset.
• Must be able to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to work independently within a fast-paced demanding environment
• Able to prioritize and complete tasks with a keen sense of urgency
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written as well as effective presentation skills (previous experience in delivery of training will be considered an asset).
• Strong computer skills are required, particularly with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
