Description :
The Packaging Support Engineer identifies, implements or follows up on engineering projects or improvement opportunities that have an impact of manufacturing and/or packaging processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Identify, design and implement solutions / systems / tools which support Production activities, giving preference to quality and/or productivity improvement (execution timing, cost, health and safety).
- Follow up and analyze machine performance.
- Assist the Building Services team in troubleshooting the machines.
- Provide technical support with regard to equipment and room layout in order to efficiently meet Production needs.
- Support operators in their training and understanding of proper operational execution of technical processes and assist them in operating and specific handling (i.e. dust containment, OHS notions, etc.).
- Office and plant work at PMS\xe2\x80\x99s various sites
- Must wear individual protection equipment in accordance with defined safety codes.
- Able to write and interpret technical documents
- Able to manage his time and priorities efficiently
- Able to manage several dossiers simultaneously
- Continuous improvement approach to processes
- Troubleshooting skills
- Interacts easily and has strong communication skills
- Good team player
- Self-Sufficient
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification would be an asset
Experience : 1 years: 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in pharmaceutical, cosmetics or food industry.
