Overview:
Responsible for packaging product and the loading/unloading of vans.

Core Functions:

Expectations of the EOF Packaging Operator:
\xc2\xb7 Full knowledge of and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
\xc2\xb7 Full knowledge of and compliance with related Good Manufacturing Practices.
\xc2\xb7 Full knowledge of and compliance with the EOF Work Instructions Manual.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure that equipment is kept clean and in good working order to achieve highest efficiency.
\xc2\xb7 Fill and seal containers as required.
\xc2\xb7 Load and unload packaged and other product from and into vans.
\xc2\xb7 Inspect vans, supplies, ingredients, and finished product.
\xc2\xb7 Rotate in packaging group as required.
\xc2\xb7 Clean in EOF according to assigned cleaning duties.
\xc2\xb7 Perform minor maintenance on equipment as assigned.
\xc2\xb7 Perform any other related duties as required ie: overtime or extra shifts
\xc2\xb7 Report any non-compliance to supervision immediately.

Team Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Communicate effectively with operations supervisor, operators, logistics, laboratory and maintenance personnel.
\xc2\xb7 Display positive image and maintain customer focus when dealing with outside groups such as carriers, suppliers, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Effective co-operation with other employees and customers.
\xc2\xb7 Housekeeping.

Skill/Experience Requirements:
\xc2\xb7 Grade 12 education or equivalent.
\xc2\xb7 Forklift driver\'s license.
\xc2\xb7 Good mechanical aptitude.
\xc2\xb7 Good computer / keyboard skills
\xc2\xb7 Able to consistently lift up to 22.7 kg.
\xc2\xb7 Valid class 5 Manitoba driver\'s license.
\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work from heights and in confined spaces.
Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
