About Bench Brewing:

Bench Brewing Company is a located on 8 acres of farmland in the heart of Niagara's rural but sophisticated wine region. We farm 3 acres of hops and 12 acres of apples alongside our large production facility, Taproom and Event Centre.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday (Part-Time); available shifts are dependent on our packaging needs and can vary from week-to-week. Hours are not guaranteed and shift days are subject to change.

The?Role:

The Packaging Hand is a member of our Production team, and is responsible for packaging operations including but not limited to canning, and kegging beer, performing cellar duties, cleaning and sanitizing packaging equipment.

Responsibilities?and?Duties:

Work on the canning line packaging beer efficiently and safely Consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and beer specifications Cellar task work (as required) Keg filling and cleaning Palletizing cases of beer (25-30lbs) Construction of cardboard trays Re-handling finished product for the purpose of making mix-packs Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies Properly clean all packaging tools and equipment, ensuring the brewery and packaging area operates in a clean and orderly fashion Adhere to the food safety required as per job duties and report non-conformities Responsible for following safety protocols

Physical Requirements:

Standing for long periods of time Frequently move cases of beer or kegs weighing up to 30lbs Spend time in warehouse with variable temperatures and humidity levels; hearing protection required (provided)

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 15 per week
