Job Description

We are seeking a Packaging Compliance and Label Lead for our Global Parts, Accessories, and Apparel team. You'll be at the forefront of building this new function in the department and offer a wide range of expertise. The PA&A business has been growing continuously, and we want to provide a global PA&A strategic packaging and labelling practice aligned with BRP's reputation.



The role is pivotal in shaping and implementing strategic compliance labelling initiatives for the BRP PA&A portfolio, encompassing development projects & marketed products. This role is critical in ensuring that labelling strategies align with global regulatory standards, given our global footprint. With a proactive and high-impact approach, you will deliver strategic regulatory labelling insights and guidance to cross-functional teams, driving successful outcomes for global programs.



As part of your role, you will ensure that products are labelled appropriately according to regulations and company standards. This role involves managing labelling processes, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with various teams to ensure compliance. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Compliance team to review upcoming regulations and supporting the preparation and management of PA&A packaging with proper labelling and marking.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:



Define and develop a strategic compliance plan related to emerging packaging regulations (design, recycled content, recyclability).



Identify, evaluate, and select the most effective compliance method to implement the strategy.



Ideate, guide, or build packaging compliance & labelling solutions that meet the needs of the company, regulatory bodies, and customers.



Lead deployment of solutions or software to ensure relevant compliance regulations (e.g., safety, environmental, and consumer protection standards) are tracked within department scope.



Work with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure they deliver the desired compliance and labelling.



Serve as a packaging compliance point of contact for BRP to ensure PA&A product packaging regulatory compliance.



Frame the global regulatory packaging requirements & compliance strategy in collaboration with the Compliance team.



Coordinate BRP packaging compliance, cross-functional processes & reporting.



YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:



A university degree in a relevant field, such as business, environmental science, or a related discipline.



4+ years of experience in labelling compliance and regulatory. Experience leading cross-functional project teams with members who are not direct reports



French and English:

Knowledge of English is essential, as you will need to interact regularly with suppliers and vendors in the US and internationally.



Proficiency in Office 365, with a focus on Excel and data analysis.



Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues related to packaging.



Experience in packaging technology, materials, and design principles is beneficial.
