?Key Responsibilities
?
Canning Line Operations
?Operate and monitor the canning line to ensure consistent production flow and minimal downtime.
?Perform critical quality control checks, including seam analysis, low fills, and dissolved oxygen (DO) pick-up testing.
?Manage the depalletizer, labeler, and pack-off stations.
?Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on the fly to maintain efficiency.
?Ensure accurate date coding and batch tracking for all packaged products.

Kegging Operations
?Operate the keg washer and filler, ensuring all kegs are cleaned and sanitized properly prior to filling.
?Manually maneuver full and empty kegs (up to
73 kg
) safely and efficiently.
?Monitor keg fill levels and carbonation pressures.
?
Warehouse & Forklift Duties
?Operate a
stand-up forklift
to move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
?Load and unload delivery trucks as required.
?Organize the cold room and dry storage areas, maintaining accurate inventory counts.
?
Cleaning & Maintenance
?Perform CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Sanitize-In-Place) procedures on all packaging equipment at the start and end of shifts.
?Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all
WorkSafeBC
regulations.
?Assist in preventative maintenance schedules for packaging machinery.

?Ability to stand, stoop, and crouch for long periods in a wet, cold, or hot environment.
?Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
?Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Preferred:

Valid Stand-Up Forklift Certification.
?
Previous experience operating a Cask Canning System (ACS, SAMS, or similar models).
?Experience in a brewery, cidery, or beverage manufacturing facility.
?Basic understanding of fluid dynamics (pumps, hoses, valves) and mechanical troubleshooting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
