Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products and lumber are packaged according to company and industry standards. This position requires knowledge of basic math, Mechanical skills to operate various and tools effectively including experiance using a tape measure.

Responsibilities

Operate packaging tools and equipment, including banding machines Utilize hand tools and forklifts for packaging tasks and material handling within the warehouse environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area to comply with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines while ensuring quality control throughout the packaging process. Conduct routine inspections of packaged products to ensure they meet quality specifications before shipment.

Requirements

Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Proficiency in using hand tools and operating forklifts safely. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability for tasks. Willingness to learn new skills related to packaging processes and machinery operation.
