This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Cleans trucks during or after operations
• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars
• Repositions vehicles according to the established dock plan
• Scans packages using the correct equipment
• Sorts packages according to the defined processes

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, 5 days per week
• Shifts may start or end hours earlier depending on package volume
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
• Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
• No experience required
• Valid class 5 drivers license

Part Time PM Evening Shift:

• Monday to Friday (5 days a week - No Weekends!)
• Shift start time between 16:00pm - 17:00pm (approx.) depending on package volume
• Shift finish time is 20:00pm
• Flexibility needed with start and finish times. Shifts can extend longer during high package volume during peak holiday season
