We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and freight to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive their shipments promptly and securely.

Duties

Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload packages, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries, taking into account traffic conditions and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Handle freight as required, including operating heavy equipment or forklifts when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving or courier services is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Experience with automotive repair can be beneficial for maintaining delivery vehicles. Previous experience handling freight will be considered an asset. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
