The Data and Visualization Specialist will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the municipality's geospatial and non-geospatial datasets to support planning, decision-making, and public services. This role involves updating and managing GIS data, performing spatial analysis, creating maps and reports and developing interactive mapping applications.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong GIS technical skills, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and an interest in supporting municipal operations through geospatial solutions.
This GIS position serves as a corporate service role, offering opportunities to engage in diverse areas of interest including municipal engineering and utilities, public works, parks and recreation, as well as planning and land management.
