Skills and experience for this seasonal opportunity:

This seasonal position for Owner-Operator Truck Driver is responsible for delivery of product and guest services while following all policies and procedures relating to Anhydrous Ammonia and Emergency Response.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Operation of Class 1 Trucks for liquid/dry fertilizer and seed/chemical delivery;
• Minimum 1 year of agriculture experience preferred not required (hauling grain, fertilizer, NH3);
• NH3 Asset Regulatory Compliance;]
• Monitor and Evaluate approved Anhydrous Ammonia PPE requirements
• Assist with investigations on incidents that involve Anhydrous Ammonia.

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving abstract;
• NH3 Handlers Training or ability to obtain.
• Work experience with Anhydrous Ammonia is an asset
• Experience in the agriculture industry is an asset;
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.);
• Flexible work schedule which may require extended hours.
