Safely operate tractor-trailers across assigned routes within Canada and the United States.
Conduct thorough
pre-trip and post-trip inspections
of truck and trailer, including tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and load security.
Properly secure cargo (Flatbed, Roll-tite, Tandem, B-trains, multi-axle configurations) to prevent shifting or road hazards.
Adhere to posted speed limits, speed limiter requirements, and adjust driving based on weather and road conditions.
Maintain compliance with
Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
, taking required rest breaks and avoiding fatigue-related driving.
Practice
defensive driving
by staying alert, anticipating actions of other road users, and keeping safe following distances.
Report promptly any mechanical issues, unsafe conditions, or incidents to the Safety and Maintenance teams.
Comply with all company safety policies, cargo handling procedures, and accident/emergency reporting protocols.
Participate in ongoing
safety training programs
and stay updated on new regulations, technologies, and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
English fluency
(speaking and understanding).
Minimum
2 years of AZ driving experience

Driving Record
:
No impaired, careless, dangerous driving, racing, or other serious convictions within the last 3 years.
No
at-fault accidents
within the last 12 months (as determined by Safety Manager).
Must provide a
clean Police Criminal Clearance (PCC)
. Drivers with past criminal records must have received a Pardon and, for U.S. entry, must present a valid waiver.
Must have
legal authorization and valid work documents
to operate in both Canada and the United States (for cross-border drivers).
