We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Owner Operator Driver to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in truck driving, with experience in handling different types of trailers and freight. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for managing your own vehicle while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

Operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight safely and efficiently. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Navigate various routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and invoices. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Manage maintenance and repairs of your truck, ensuring it is always in optimal condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Utilize manual transmission skills when necessary for specific driving conditions. Operate specialized equipment such as forklifts, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or refrigerated trailers as required.

Experience

Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving. Familiarity with various types of trailers including flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated units. Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and route driving logistics. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively. Experience with load & unload processes in various environments.
