Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, as well as the ability to manage vehicle maintenance and repairs independently.

Duties

Operate and drive commercial vehicles to transport freight to various locations. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. Manage logistics, including route planning and scheduling for timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members to coordinate deliveries. Utilize forklift and heavy equipment operation skills when necessary for loading and unloading freight.

Requirements

Valid British Columbia (BC) commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience. Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. to handle basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

Our company takes a percentage of the profit, which is negotiable based on experience and agreement terms. Pay varies depending on how much you work and your dedication. We offer dedicated runs covering key routes, including BC to Alberta, BC to Ontario, BC to Washington, Oregon, and California--and vice versa.
