Summary

We are seeking an experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our dynamic team in Nova Scotia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across North America, contributing to our commitment to excellence in transportation services.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently for freight transportation Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal performance Manage paperwork related to deliveries and freight documentation Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during operations Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience as a truck driver or owner operator Strong knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations Ability to operate heavy equipment and forklifts (preferred) Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance (preferred)
