Safely operate your tractor-trailer to transport freight including refrigerated loads, flatbed shipments, tankers, and other specialized trailers. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary. Maintain adherence to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety standards. Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries, managing route driving with precision and attention to detail. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered on the road. Keep detailed records of mileage, fuel consumption, cargo documentation, and delivery confirmations.

Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; prior delivery driver experience is highly valued. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for tractor-trailer operation. Proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks; experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus. Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment when required. Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight handling and vehicle operation. Strong route planning skills with an emphasis on efficiency and timeliness. Physical ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and cargo handling tasks.
