Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulations. As an Owner Operator, you will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule and routes while being part of a supportive network that values professionalism and safety.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to various destinations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding schedules and delivery updates. Ensure proper loading and unloading of freight, utilizing heavy equipment operation techniques when necessary. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly in freight transportation. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred, including the ability to operate forklifts safely. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs when required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and manage routes effectively. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
