We are currently seeking to hire

Experienced Super B Tanker Owner Operator Condensate Haulers

for Fort St. John and Grande Prairie areas

. The basic function of this role is hauling condensate. Owner Operators will be required to have a T&E type product pump system on their truck.

Position Responsibilities:

Scope of work is off road with mountain driving conditions, so expect to use tire chains often. Loading locations: First location, turn off Hwy 97 (Alaska Hwy) at Mile 115 to KM 34 on the Tommy Lakes Rd. Second location, turn off Hwy 97 (Alaska Hwy) at Mile 73 onto the Beaton Airport Rd to KM 64. Both of these facilities will require chaining when it is raining, muddy, snowing or icy. The offload locations vary but include: Pembina Gordondale, Pembina Laglace, AltaGas Pipestone, PRC Peace River.

Truck Requirements:

Maximum 10 year old unit. (An RBS Shop inspection and approval will be required regardless of the age of the truck). Heavy spec: 46000 rear ends, power divider and 4-way axle lockers. Must have constant trailer power dash switch. Two-way radio (VHF) RBS channel list. Automatic electronic positive air shutoff. Moose bumper. Back Up Alarm. 4" T&E Pump with hydraulic wet kit and PTO with cooler and spool valve. RBS DOES NOT ALLOW JOST fifth wheel plates!

Expectations:

That the truck is based in the north, either Grande Prairie or Fort St. John areas. RBS has a yard in Clairmont available for owner ops and drivers to park. There are `no paid runs back to Fort Saskatchewan or Edmonton currently. The driver is expected to work 70-hour shifts with 36-hour resets and any extra days off must be booked ahead of time with dispatch.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

:

2+ years hauling, loading and unloading flammable dangerous goods including crude oil, condensate, produced water. 2+ years of experience using the product pump. Able and willing to work 70-hour shifts with 36-hour resets. Able and willing to work off road, with mountain driving conditions and frequently use tire chains. Valid class 1 driver's license. 5 yr. Commercial Driver Abstract with 3 or less demerits. Verified tickets: H2S, First Aid, CSO. Grade 10 or higher. Experience using a T&E style pump with other products will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years hauling flammable TDG products, loading and unloading with T&E type product pump. Clean 5 year Commercial Driver Abstract.
