Essential Duties:



Ensure guest service, maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are adhered to in all indoor and outdoor areas of the hotel as per the Property Visitation Report Coordinate and uphold the preventative maintenance room schedule and equipment schedule; perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections as required by brand, company and Occupational Health & Safety Conduct light duty damages and repairs; coordinate with external tradespersons and service personnel as required Understand and follow all job and hotel safety standards and policies; report any accidents and/or hazards to Management Respond professionally and efficiently to all guest requests Adhere to company standards of appearance Maintains an inviting presence for guests through the on-going maintenance and landscaping of all outdoor areas Perform special projects including carpet, glass and window covering cleaning Assist housekeeping staff with sorting, storing and delivery of large items, linens, and supplies Supports company, brand and industry environmental initiatives and programs through the use of environmentally friendly, sustainable products and best practices Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees and guests Ability to be on-call and work evenings, weekends, and holidays Always provide the highest quality of service to the guest and anticipate and exceed guest expectations. Restock linen closets, linen and storage rooms with linen supplies. When necessary, strip guest rooms of linen and trash. When necessary help clean rooms. Vacuum and/or mop hallways and stairwells. Lobby: Clean registration desk, vacuum, clean fingerprints off glass doors. Public Restrooms: supplies as needed; take out all trash; clean glass and doors and any residue from the tables. Check the water level in the Spa and check the bromine level. Exercise Room: clean all mirrors, wipe all equipment; take out trash; run vacuum cleaner; clean glass doors. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirement



Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog) Must be able to move, lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs Ability to reach, bend, twist, pull, and crouch Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time

Education & Experience



Previous general maintenance experience is required; preferably in a hospitality setting Ability to read and write English is required Exceptional guest service skills
