Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to a 4 year old child with tracheostomy and feeding tube. We are looking to fill a position for thursday, friday, Saturday and sunday night. This position is in our private Home.

The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for a child with disabilities. This role involves working closely with clients in their home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is a plus. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in nursing home settings is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to follow care plans accurately while being adaptable to changing needs. Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory.
