Canine Campus Dog Daycare

in West Kelowna is now hiring for energetic and fun-loving animal lover who enjoys playing with pups! We are seeking a responsible, caring and attentive Overnight Dog Boarding Attendant to provide care for dogs staying overnight at our facility.
Canine Campus is also looking for occasional weekend coverage and occasional hiking coverage, If you like working in a straightforward environment, have experience with dogs and are punctual, reliable and have good work ethic please apply now!

Job requirements:
- Dog experience (Basic dog knowledge)

- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes

- Basic computer sales skills

- Customer service skills

-Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

-Must be able to drive (class 5 or 7)

Responsibilities

- Providing dogs dinner and breakfast.

- Administering medication if needed.

- Monitor the dogs for any signs of distress, illness, or injury, and report concerns to the management team immediately.

- Clean and maintain dog boarding areas, including kennels, play areas, and common spaces.

- Ensure that all dogs have access to water, and ensure comfort and security by adjusting bedding, toys, or other comfort items as needed.

- Monitor dog interactions during group play sessions, ensuring positive and safe behavior.

- Follow facility protocols for emergency situations, including medical emergencies or behavioral issues.

- Keep detailed log of each dogs health, and any special instructions or requests if necessary.

- Ensure the facility is secure, including locking gates and doors, and keeping a ear out throughout the night on the dogs.

Canine Campus is open

Monday - Friday 6:00am - 7:00pm

Saturday's 9:00am -6:00pm
