RAPS is Seeking an Overnight Awake Support Worker to Assist an Individual with Autism (A78)

Location

: Southwest Edmonton (Glenridding Ravine Area)

Days:

Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10pm - 8am

Overnight awake

: Duties include but are not limited to: Building a meaningful relationship with client, companionship, supervision, enhancing life skills, bathroom assistance and personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and light housekeeping.

Qualifications and Other Requirements

: The successful candidate will have an updated criminal record check with the vulnerable sector check and have a valid driver's license and vehicle for your own transportation as public transportation is limited in this area. Education in support work considered an asset. Previous experience working with individuals with sensory sensitivities considered an asset. The ideal candidate will be calm in nature, be safety conscious and able to follow written and verbal directions.
