We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as an
Entry Level Door Technician Helper
. This is a great opportunity to start a career in the trade--no prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
As a Technician Helper, you will assist lead technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial garage doors and related systems. You'll learn hands-on skills, including the use of tools and equipment, safety procedures, and customer service.
This position is full-time and offers room for growth within the company. We're looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working with their hands in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
Diagnose issues with garage door systems and provide effective solutions.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all tools are accounted for after each job.
Requirements
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
Must be able to lift heavy objects as required during installations or repairs. Weights vary
A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Physically capable for the using of ladders
