As an Overhead Crane Service Technician you will work at client sites across Alberta/BC/Saskatchewan to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

A typical day:

ul

li
Complete troubleshooting and diagnostics on overhead cranes, jibs, lifting equipment and chain hoists.
/li

li
Complete electrical, mechanical and structural repairs.
/li

li
Complete pre/post repair inspections with clients.
/li

li
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring to fully understand and properly diagnose issues with client\'s equipment.
/li

li
Travel to client sites across Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan.
/li

li
Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance to safety regulations.
/li

Must have:

2000+ hours of repair experience on overhead cranes.
/li

li
Electrician or electrical apprentice in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of apprenticeship.
/li

li
Welders/millwrights willing to obtain electrical tickets would be considered.
/li

li
Able to pass pre-employment testing including a drug and alcohol test and background check.
/li

li
Valid class 5 license and clean driving record.
/li

li
Excellent customer service skills.
/li

li
Safety conscious individual.
/li

li
Willing to travel out of town up to 40% of the time.
/li

Overhead Crane Service Technician

Agilus is recruiting for a Overhead Crane Service Technician in the Heavy Equipment Industry in Edmonton, Alberta. As an Overhead Crane Service Technician you will work at client sites across Alberta/BC/Saskatchewan to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain overhead cranes and lifting equipment. A typical day:

  • Complete troubleshooting and diagnostics on overhead cranes, jibs, lifting equipment and chain hoists.
