Job Description

We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual who is a Journeyman Electrician with Overhead Crane Repair experience.

Our technicians work in a safety-first type of environment and don't mind heights or working on mechanical parts. As a service technician, you will be troubleshooting issues with our cranes, cutting equipment as well as all electrical work needed in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical and structural troubleshooting to determine cause for equipment malfunction and establish the necessary repairs utilizing visual inspection, test procedures and appropriate test equipment. Complete service reports and other required and appropriate documents in a professional, accurate, neat and legible manner and submit same in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines. Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicles and assets in a safe and proper working order. Operate tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Follow all established safety rules and procedures Other duties as assigned by General Manager.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Journeyman Electrician Minimum five (5) years' experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair. Electronic experience is preferred but not necessary. Prior experience with operating cranes is a benefit. Overhead crane maintenance experience. Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license. Must be willing and able to work at various height levels all year round.
