OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

About the company:

Assured First Aid & Safety is an industry leader providing mobile first aid and safety products in Western Canada.

For our Surrey branch, we are looking to grow our team of mobile and safety specialists helping us to continue exceeding the safety standard.

About the successful candidate:

This opportunity is for the hunter who is comfortable with cold calling as their primary source of new leads. As an experienced salesperson, you leave no stone unturned in your respective territory.

Representing a product base with over 1000 sku's, the sales representative will be charged with developing new business primarily in the construction, manufacturing and industrial sectors.

As a self-starter, you can work independently within a team but you can also collaborate with other team members to work toward company initiatives.

The outside sales representative will be responsible to:

Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas, demonstrating the ability to drive consistent revenue growth. Show an increase in client portfolio size and retention rates, reflecting the ability to maintain and nurture long-term client relationships. Deliver exceptional customer service, earning positive client feedback and reinforcing the company's reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Account management:

Manage existing customer relationships and drive recurring sales

Outside sales and cold calling:

Visit clients at their locations to conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations

Customer service:

Provide communication to customers and prospective customers by phone, e-mail and In-person.

Deliveries:

Delivering orders to your customers

Order Picking:

Assist warehouse, during peak fulfilment hours, in picking orders for your customers, as needed

Required skills and experience:

2+ years of proven experience as an outside sales representative

Excellent communication skills:

Ability to articulate product features, build rapport with clients, and effectively present information. Speak and understand English fluently, other languages are an asset.

Sales acumen:

Understanding of new business development activities including: working knowledge of a sales cycle and cold calling, lead generation and qualification, relationship building as well as negotiation and closing techniques.

Customer service oriented:

Committed to providing exceptional customer service to existing and new customers

Time management:

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Construction Knowledge:

an asset but not required

First Aid Certification:

an asset but not required

Non-Negotiables:

Clean Drivers Abstract

required, with a full license and experience in driving in all weather conditions.

Compensation Package:

Initial 90 days - $3500/month plus commission on sales over 30K

3 months plus - $3000/month, plus uncapped and tiered commission with your percentage earned increasing with every tier!
