Prevent Mechanical

is a Calgary-based mechanical contractor providing plumbing, hydronics, and HVAC services to commercial and multi-residential clients. We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative with

direct mechanical services sales experience

.

This is not an entry-level or transferable sales role. We are specifically looking for someone who has successfully sold

plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical service work

for a contractor serving commercial or multi-residential buildings.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, building owners, and commercial clients Generate new business through site visits, referrals, and targeted outreach Manage opportunities from first contact through proposal and close Work closely with service and operations teams to scope and price work accurately Track activity and pipeline in our CRM Represent the company professionally in the field

Required experience

Proven outside sales experience selling

mechanical services

(plumbing, HVAC, hydronics) Experience working for a

mechanical contractor or service company

Existing familiarity with Calgary's commercial or multi-residential market Ability to discuss scopes of work, service agreements, and project-based pricing competently

This role is NOT a fit if

Your background is primarily retail, commodity, or product-only sales You have not sold technical mechanical services You are looking for inside sales or an entry-level role

Compensation

Base salary plus commission Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement Benefits
