The Role

We are seeking motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Two Rivers Specialty Meats, serving clients throughout the BC Interior. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and the people who make it.





They understand the energy, creativity, and challenges of the industry and enjoy creating connections with vendors, chefs, restaurateurs, and food lovers. They are also a natural story-teller and problem solver, who delivers trust, authenticity, and great service to existing and new customers alike.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow a territory across the BC Interior Visit existing and potential customers to develop and maintain strong relationships Represent the Two Rivers brand with professionalism, passion, and deep product knowledge Understand customer needs and recommend the right products for their operations Prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure seamless coordination with operations and logistics Resolve issues promptly, ensuring excellent customer experiences Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts Stay current with product offerings, market trends, and seasonal availability Participate in regional events and gatherings to grow the brand Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in sales or related experience, ideally in foodservice, hospitality, or wholesale distribution Solid understanding of restaurant culture and the needs of chefs and buyers Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage geographic territory Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently Experience with CRM systems Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Passion for quality food, sustainability, and local sourcing

Originally founded in 2007, Two Rivers quickly became the premier meat supplier to restaurants all across B.C. Then, in 2017, an expansion saw the launch of "The Shop" a retail space designed to connect everyday meat lovers and home cooks with the same ethical and sustainable products that were being enjoyed by top chefs for years.



In the beginning, we were just a handful of people working out of a very tiny space. There are a lot more of us today, and while our offices and warehouse are bigger, our purpose remains the same - share our love of outstanding, local food with passionate people.
