Position summary
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for conducting sales calls in the field via face-to-face, email, phone and virtual interactions with both potential and existing customers. The Outside Sales Representative will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.

Key responsibilities
General Duties:
Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO's customers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO Supply
Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
Read and comply with ECCO's Human Resources Policies and Procedures
Read and comply with ECCO's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
Assist in the success of ECCO's Safety Program with suggestions, by setting a good example, and by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work
Contacting new customers and developing new profitable HVAC business
Attend and respond all queries, disputes, etc. promptly
Provide timely, accurate and competitive pricing via written quotations while striving to maintain maximum profit margin and growing market share
Maintain electronic records of all sales leads and/or customers while expanding and maintaining a customer database
Conduct business in a moral and ethical manner
Forecasting, developing, maintaining and evaluating sales strategies
Meet personal, branch sales and expense budgets
Take sales training and product knowledge courses as recommended or as deemed necessary
Attend industry trade shows approved by ECCO Supply management
Participate in annual branch physical inventory
Report and provide continuous market feedback to the inside sales team and management
Other duties as deemed necessary by Management
Due to the dynamic nature of this Company the duties and responsibilities may reasonably change from time to time.
Qualifications:
3+ Years of outside sales experience in the building materials industry or an equivalent combination of two years of HVAC sales, education, training, and experience
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Residential HVAC systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive demeanour and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to prioritize important tasks and meet deadlines
Work with a high degree of integrity and a sense of urgency
A current driver's License and clean driving abstract
