Flocor Inc., est une filiale du Groupe Deschenes Inc. et un chef de file dans l'industrie de la distribution de tuyaux, valves et raccords industriels. Nous recherchons un representant des ventes externes pour notre bureau et notre entrepot a Dorval, QC. Le candidat retenu maximisera les ventes a Dorval et dans les environs et generera des comptes nouveaux et existants. La personne sera principalement responsable du developpement, de l'entretien et de la maintenance de notre base de comptes clients et atteindre divers objectifs de vente.

Le candidat ideal aura une experience anterieure axee sur les produits industriels, mecaniques et de protection incendie. Le titulaire du poste cultivera et entretiendra des relations solides avec nos clients. Des connaissances en informatique et un bilinguisme francais/anglais sont requis.

RESPONSABILITES:



Travailler sur le terrain en passant des appels et en participant a des evenements de l'industrie pour developper des relations etroites avec les decideurs cles parmi les clients existants et nouveaux. Resoudre les problemes des clients/ou les problemes assurer la liaison avec les ventes internes, le credit et l'entrepot Elaborer et mettre en oeuvre des strategies de suivi pour des projets specifiques et sur une base continue Se concentrer sur l'atteinte et le depassement constants des objectifs de vente tout en fournissant des previsions de ventes precises Communiquer avec les clients en fournissant ou en coordonnant le service client, les devis et la resolution des litiges en etablissant une relation solide entre le client et l'entreprise. Developper et servir les clients existants et nouveaux, pour acquerir et maintenir des relations a long terme entre les clients et l'entreprise Preparer les previsions de ventes pour la prochaine annee de vente ; examiner les resultats des ventes avec le directeur regional sur une base mensuelle ou selon les besoins/demandes Planification du territoire, appels et planification des itineraires pour maximiser les ventes Identifier, cibler et acquerir de nouveaux comptes clients Responsable du suivi de la solvabilite des clients, du signalement des irregularites au service du credit et au directeur regional Participer a des fonctions de vente speciales et a des salons professionnels selon les besoins/demandes Aider au bureau des commandes selon les besoins/demandes Rester a jour dans les produits de l'entreprise Preparer et generer des rapports selon les besoins/demandes

QUALIFICATIONS:



Minimum de 4 ans d'experience dans le service a la clientele/capacite de vente dans un secteur connexe, de preference avec des connaissances de base en tuyaux, vannes et raccords mecaniques/industriels. Competences averees en developpement des affaires Diplome collegial en vente/marketing, en administration des affaires, technologue en genie mecanique (CET) ou dans une discipline connexe Aptitude en mecanique et capacite a lire des plans est un atout Bilingue et parlant couramment le francais et l'anglais ; oral et ecrit Excellentes competences en communication verbale et ecrite, en relations interpersonnelles et en negociation/resolution de problemes Haut degre de precision avec une attention aux details Capacite a maintenir un haut niveau de confidentialite Capacite a comprendre et a communiquer les aspects techniques des produits de l'entreprise Posseder un niveau intermediaire de competences informatiques avec Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook et les applications Web Bonnes competences en mathematiques Autonome, bien organise et capable d'effectuer plusieurs taches a la fois et d'executer un plan d'action Doit etre capable de s'autogerer et de prioriser les objectifs avec un minimum de supervision Disponible a voyager quotidiennement, certains voyages de nuit selon les besoins/demandes Posseder un permis de conduire valide de classe 5 et maintenir un dossier de conduite vierge Doit etre en mesure de repondre a toutes les exigences de voyage a l'interieur et a l'exterieur du Canada

Job description


Flocor Inc., is a subsidiary of Deschenes Group Inc. and a leader in the industrial pipe, valve and fitting distribution industry. We are searching for an Outside Sales Representative for our Office and Warehouse in Dorval, QC. The successful candidate will maximize sales within Dorval and surrounding areas and will generate new and existing accounts. The individual will be primarily responsible for the development, servicing and maintenance of our customer account base and meet various sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with an emphasis in industrial, mechanical and fire protection products. The incumbent will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our customers. Computer literacy and bilingual in French/English is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Work in the field making calls and attending industry events to develop close relationships with key decision makers among existing and new customers Resolve customer/client issues/or problems liaise with inside sales, credit and warehouse Develop and implement follow-up strategies for specific projects and ongoing basis Focus on consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while also providing accurate sales forecasting Communicate with customers providing or coordinating customer service, quotes, and dispute resolution by building strong relationship between the customer and Company Developing and servicing existing and new customers, to gain and sustain long term relationships between clients and the company Prepare sales forecasts for the next selling year; review sales results with the Regional Manager on a monthly basis or as required/requested Territory planning, calls and route planning to maximize sales Identify, target and acquire new customer accounts Accountable for monitoring client/customer creditworthiness, reporting irregularities to credit department and Regional Manager Participate in special sales functions and trade shows as require/requested Assist on the order desk as required/requested Remain current in company product Prepare and generate reports as required/requested

QUALIFICATIONS:



Minimum 4 years' experience in customer service/sales capacity in related industry in the capacity preferably with background knowledge in mechanical/industrial pipe, valve and fitting Proven business development skills College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering Technologist (CET) or a related discipline Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blue prints is an asset Bilingual and fluent in French and English; oral and written Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal and negotiations/problem solving skills High degree of accuracy with attention to detail Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Ability to grasp and communicate the technical aspects of the company's products Possess an intermediate level of computer competency with Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and web based applications Good mathematical skills Self-starter, well organized with ability to multi-task and execute a plan of action Must be able to self-manage and prioritize goals with minimal supervision Available to travel on a daily basis, some overnight travel as required/requested Possess valid Class 5 driver's license and maintain a clean driving record Must be able to meet all travel requirements within and outside of Canada
