Responsibilities
Generate new business through
cold calling, networking, and in-person sales calls selling to end-user businesses
Develop and manage a sales territory to achieve and exceed targets
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
Convert calls and meetings into documented opportunities using our call-sheet/CRM system
Negotiate pricing and close sales while maintaining strong customer relationships
Upsell LED lighting and related products
Collaborate with internal teams to support customer and sales objectives
Requirements
Knowledge of Lighting and LED lighting products is required
Have worked at selling lighting products
Strong cold-calling and new business development skills (required)
Outside B2B sales experience; lighting or electrical industry experience preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with strong time and territory management abilities
Customer-focused approach with relationship-building skills
