On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.
Our client, a well-established North American marketing and media organization, is hiring a Field Sales Representative to grow adoption of a modern retail media and flyer solution across the Vancouver market.
This is a growth hire supporting the expansion of a recently launched product that replaces the reach once provided by local newspapers--offering affordable, hyper-local flyer distribution to small and mid-sized retailers.
What You'll Do

• Prospect and close new retail customers across BC (60-70% hunting)
• Educate business owners and local marketers on a new flyer-based advertising solution
• Manage and grow your own book of business, retaining accounts and earning on renewals
• Run a high-volume outbound motion (cold calling, in-person visits, follow-ups)
• Sell consultatively into SMBs and multi-location operators
• Own deals end-to-end, from first conversation through campaign launch and renewal
• Travel locally across the Lower Mainland and broader BC as required

About the Product

• A "re-invented flyer" combining multiple retailers into one shared weekly flyer
• Distributed by mail with hyper-local targeting by zone, ad size, and timing
• Active in BC and Quebec, with Ontario launching shortly and national rollout planned
• Fills the gap left by declining local print media while remaining more affordable than traditional direct mail

What We're Looking For

• 1-5+ years of hunting-focused field or outbound sales experience
• High rejection tolerance and strong cold-calling discipline
• Comfortable selling a product that requires education
• Backgrounds that translate well include retail sales, broadcasting sales, facilities, or other outbound-heavy roles
• Self-driven and resilient
