Cannon Estate Winery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As the Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in boosting our Client's wholesale sales through targeted outreach to restaurants, liquor stores, and other accounts. This position requires strong hands-on sales skills, a passion for wine, and the ability to work collaboratively with winery staff and management. If you are an experienced sales professional with 10 or more years in the wine industry, this may be the place for you as you help us position our winery as a leading Fraser Valley brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive wholesale sales growth by targeting new and existing accounts, including restaurants, liquor stores, and chains like Save On Foods
Secure new accounts with minimum first orders to qualify for bonuses
Achieve monthly case sales targets for wholesale channels (LRS, LIC)
Meet net wholesale targets per month to ensure balanced performance
Conduct a minimum number of client visits per month, with at least 50% focused on new or potential customers
Foster existing account growth of year-over-year through relationship building and upselling
Track client interactions, order histories, and performance metrics using provided Ollie Order and other CRM software
Participate in quarterly strategy sessions and receive training on Client's wine portfolio
Maintain ongoing effort on repeat orders, ensuring ongoing commissions
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an outside sales representative or similar role in the wine industry, with 10 or more years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of BC's wine market, wholesale channels, and sales strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, winery staff, and management
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools
Wine knowledge and passion for the industry is required
