WHAT WE DO
: We provide equipment and services that deliver wireless technology solutions ranging from cell phone, 2-way radios, pagers, boosters, satellite phones, and related accessories; to more advanced solutions such as Repeaters, Networks, Wifi/IP, Co-location Services (towers), Dispatch, Mining and Fleet solutions.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
: We are seeking an outside sales professional to join our team who is driven to succeed, and will grow our 2-way Radio customer base throughout our operating territory. The successful candidate will have a technical aptitude and has exceptional sales skills. A positive, can-do attitude, as well as openness to new ideas and approaches is a must.
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:
Manage, retain and increase the revenue of an assigned customer account base delivering an exceptional customer experience while meeting company and departmental strategic objectives.
Promote all lines of business with a wide range of products, services and communication solutions while developing customized solutions to meet clients' needs.
Complete designated sales training and continued individual development.
Work with customers as a communication consultant with the ability to understand customer drivers and provide communications solutions that meet their business needs.
Work closely with the Technical Solutions team in developing customer solutions, pricing and delivering proposals that drive revenue.
Represent Prairie Mobile Communications professionally and build our reputation in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post Secondary education in Commerce or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
High degree of comfort with emerging technologies, technical knowledge of telecommunications and the 2-way radio service industry knowledge would be considered an asset.
Extensive sales experience in account management and development of Customer Account plans including the ability to understand customer specific needs and develop customized solutions.
Extensive experience in business account management with the ability to drive new business and source information through subject matter experts in order to close sales.
Experience conducting customer research, developing and executing pre-sales activities and analyzing opportunities for customized solutions.
Experience preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, business cases and/or formal documentation provided to customers.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and identify opportunities for growth.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and be available to travel throughout assigned territory on a regular basis for meetings with new and existing clients.
