Join the Aya?s Me?n?men Child & Family Support Services Department as the Outreach & Wellness Initiatives Coordinator. This role is central to advancing new and ongoing mental health and wellness initiatives across Nexwninlhewa?7nem Ch'a?wch'aw People Services. You will help coordinate projects, track progress, and provide administrative and communication support to ensure that wellness initiatives are delivered effectively and in alignment with Squamish Nation values. What You'll Do

Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support for wellness initiatives, including scheduling, reporting, note-taking, and presentations.
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
Coordinate internal and external communications, acting as a central point of contact between staff, departments, and partners.
Schedule and coordinate appointments, outreach events, and home visits.
Track and monitor project workflows, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and reports are accurate and up to date.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support planning, evaluation, and accountability.
Support management with budget tracking, invoice processing, and resource allocation.
Maintain filing systems for program and project documentation.
Contribute to cross-departmental projects and support community-based initiatives.
Work evenings and weekends as required to support community outreach.
What We're Looking For

Degree or Diploma in Social Services, Communications, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Related experience in administration, project coordination, and/or social services.
Strong project management and organizational skills with experience tracking progress and timelines.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort working with large databases.
Experience working in social services, health care, or community settings, preferably with diverse populations.
Experience working in or alongside First Nations communities.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
High emotional intelligence, integrity, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Salary:
$62,500 - $87,500
Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. We are committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
