Hourly Rate

: $22.66/hr

Tasks & Responsibilities:



Demonstrate leadership, keep the Spa Experience team motivated and guide the team to a high standard of service Support the Spa Experience team with any guest issues or concerns that arise Ensure an equal division of daily tasks within the team Assist in training Spa Experience team members, provide feedback to assist with performance reviews, assist with addressing any performance issues with team members Maintain the quality of the spa site to the Scandinave Spa Standards for our guests Assist in guiding guests through their Scandinave Spa visit with a thorough knowledge of all of our spa features Be pro-active in anticipating guests' needs Maintain cleanliness and quality of the entire site, including regular tours to ensure cleanliness and order of bathrooms and shower stalls, locker rooms and the Massage Pavilion Optimize the spa ambience by ensuring Scandinave Spa policies are followed Perform Technical Duties: + Ensure quality of all pools: test water samples, calculate and add chemicals as needed, monitor temperatures, and maintain cleanliness
+ Monitor and review the teams' water quality tests to ensure accuracy at each step
+ Maintain sauna fire and ambience fireplace temperatures
+ Monitor steam room and solarium temperatures
Pool Operations Room Duties: water quality management, check and ensure the functionality of pool cleaning equipment, be aware of any mechanical issues that may require attention and report any concerns to the Spa Experience Supervisor/Manager Perform opening and closing procedures on site All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Spa Scandinave Whistler

Prerequisites:



You love to be outdoors, are able to be on your feet all day and walk up/down stairs Previous customer service experience Previous experience in a leadership role Energetic and positive team player Excellent communication, ability to remain calm and professional at all times Proactive, creative problem-solving skills Able to lift 20lbs Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Previous experience with water quality testing is not required - full training will be provided Available to work full-time, including evenings and weekends Clear criminal record check Must be able to obtain a valid BC Drivers License
