Seasonal positions available at this award-winning campground for Outdoor Maintenance. Applicants MUST have exceptional customer service skills, excellent command of the English language, a positive attitude, be well-groomed, outgoing, detail oriented, mature, a team player, and have a driver\'s license and reliable transportation to the north end of town. It is imperative that the applicant be comfortable conversing with our guests in English. Applicant will take pride in knowing that our campground guests will have a more enjoyable vacation because of the efforts made in these positions. Position will suit an energetic student or individual. Duties will include lawn care, cleaning of cabins and washrooms, maintenance projects, along with other duties as assigned. Attention to detail is paramount. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and think on their feet. Hours and days vary and may change throughout the season, and will be approximately 30 hours per week. Flexibility is a MUST.
Position to start the beginning of May, and will continue through Labour Day weekend, and possibly into October, if available.
Due to the short nature of the season, no additional time off will be available for vacations, other than regularly scheduled days off. Again, customer service skills MUST be impeccable. To Qualify for the Canada Summer Job program applicants must be 15-30 years of age and Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident. Wage: Up to $19.00 per hour, depending upon skill set. Required Skills - Able to produce a current Level 2 Police Records check prior to start date.
