An opportunity to play your part \xe2\x80\x93 As the successful candidate you will be given the experience to define, enhance, and implement Centrica\xe2\x80\x99s information security architecture, whilst ensuring consistent administration of information security policies, standards, procedures, and controls to effectively improve security posture. You will work alongside Security Solutions Architects, providing input into High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs, Review and provide input in to design documentation produced by other functions across the business.

The day to day

• Lead the architectural efforts in a specific technical or business domain and oversee the creation of solution structures for projects within a business area. Set architectural principles and directions for this domain.
• Plan and implement strategies for data management in the new state, including storage and transfer. Make the best use of technical platforms for comprehensive solution design using architectural patterns.
• Create, adapt, and maintain a system for managing architectural methods, practices, and standards for OT.
• Increase the security of our OT, IoT, and IIoT systems.
• Work with OT engineers across the business to help assess the security of the OT environments.
• Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming legislation that is relevant to the company and the jurisdictions that it operates within, such as Network and Information Security (NIS) Directive, Smart Energy Code (SEC), Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI), and Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations.

About you

• Show experience in building OT security programs and securing OT networks.
• Deliver ICS support on general IT topics, like network setups, protocols, Active Directory, Backup processes, and app virtualisation.
• Provide a basic understanding of IT-Security threat modelling, vulnerability checks, and penetration testing.
• Show previous skills in using tools for examining incidents, simulations, and forensics.
• Show a recognised understanding of building OT security programs and securing OT networks.
• Recognised experience in ICS support and general IT topics, like network setups, protocols, Active Directory, Backup processes, and app virtualisation.
• Knowledge of IT-Security threat modelling, vulnerability checks, and penetration testing.
• Skills in using tools for examining incidents, simulations, and forensics.
• Show the ability to explain technical plans and reports clearly to customers, engineering teams, managers, and government groups.
• Familiarity with standards like IEC 62443, NIST 800-82.
