About the Candidate



Our ideal candidate has:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5-10+ years OT infrastructure design, build, support and maintenance experience. Experience with Microsoft Server Architecture, Active Directory, etc. Experience with High Availability Clustered Virtualization of Data Centre Infrastructure Servers build, Hypervisor setup and configuration, and deployment of Virtualized Microsoft Servers under the Hypervisors running on the clustered hosts. Hyper-V experience would be an advantage. Experience in rack and stack of high-capacity server infrastructure, SANs and NAS components in a Data Centre machine room environment will be desirable. Experience with basic networking connectivity and server network configuration for high availability and fail=over scenarios. Experience with documenting detailed design and as-build infrastructure diagrams.

About the Role



The OT Infrastructure Specialist completes design documentation, conduct setup and implementation of high availability clustered virtualization of OT infrastructure components (servers, SANs, NAS storage, and Domain Controller (DC)), troubleshooting and administration/maintenance of SCADA systems infrastructure in a Data Centre environment. They regularly engage with clients and IT/OT and vendor professionals to support efficient and timely completion of projects.

Core Activities:

Plan and complete network and system design documentation. Build, setup and maintain server hosts, virtualization infrastructure and network for multiple Industrial Control System networks. Design, configure and support virtual servers build in the clustered high availability virtualized environment. Support and maintenance on all Servers running Microsoft Server or Windows Operating Systems. Comply with OT cyber security policies and industry standards (group policies and access control user credentials management, system security patching, security clients/agent deployment on all endpoints in the OT network (e.g., antivirus, EDR deployments). Create scripts for OT projects using prominent scripting languages. Engage within a team to achieve project goals, deliverables, and deployment success while striving to share knowledge and lead or follow dependent on workstream activities and skills requirements. Maintain careful and diligent compliance with all relevant change management procedures.
Additional activities that may be part of the role:

Work with vendors of record for 3rd party application and technology support. Participate in security audits and implement recommendations. Build backup and disaster recovery of servers and third party provided Applications and/or Cyber Security software. Hardening of critical Microsoft application servers and Microsoft SQL databases. Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation (research and patching). Support and administration for Active Directory and DNS. Understanding and experience with network architecture design and configuration of switches, routers, and firewalls. Review various sources of documentation, existing design artifacts, management of change (MOC) records, asset management systems of record, logs, and asset monitoring to confirm how the client environment has been configured. Prepare bulk updates to asset management systems according to SME direction for client execution.
