Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospital environments and home care. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care, pediatrics, and pain management, along with a strong understanding of medical terminology and data collection processes.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their therapeutic needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring patient progress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner for documentation and data collection. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, self-care strategies, and available resources. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy.

Qualifications

Familiarity with pain management techniques and pediatric therapy is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in a medical office environment. Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence in patient care responsibilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. Pay: $17.20-$51.95 per hour
